Make this quick DIY Laundry Stain Stick today
Putting this Laundry Stain Stick together takes literally 2 minutes. And it works great. And it doesn't have any of the *crap* that you find in many stain sticks you can purchase these days. I've been on a label reading rampage for the past couple of years. It started with just food labels and moved on to cosmetics and cleaning products as I realized how often we unknowingly expose ourselves and our families to harmful chemicals Many stain removers have fragrances that can lead to skin irritation/allergies/damage, acute aquatic toxicity, nervous system effects, and even respiratory effects. Other ingredients, like ALCOHOL ETHOXYLATES, cause concern regarding cancer, developmental, endocrine, or reproductive effects, damage to DNA, respiratory effects, nervous system effects, digestive system effects, skin irritation/allergies/damage, even damage to vision.Check out EWG's website to learn about the cleaners you use (or used) Here's the recipe
DIY Laundry Stain Stick
1 Tablespoon On Guard Laundry Detergent 10 drops Lemon Essential Oil water 1oz roller bottle Combine On Guard Laundry Detergent & Lemon Essential Oil in roller bottle. Top with water, snap on roller and you're ready to go. Roll on stain as soon as possible and wash normally. If you've "stain-sticked" your stain a while before washing, re-apply just before throwing in the machine! Next time I use it, I'll be sure to take before and after pictures. The Lemon oil is great at removing greasy stains - so don't worry - that mishap with the burger and fries won't ruin your new outfit ;-) My middle daughter's nickname is "messy molly" so you know this is one she'll love to get her hands on!
