At the end of a long, busy day that's full of stress, there's few things more relaxing than a nice long soak in the tub. Add some Lavender essential oil  and you've got yourself the most relaxing bath EVER.  We made these great Tub Tea bags at my last make & take, and they were the most popular item we did.  I read recently that lavender was used in ancient times to tame lions and tigers.  I haven't been able to find more specifics on that, but I'd believe it.  We used it on our high-strung, hyper Cocker Spaniel and he's now very very chill.  Lavender most certainly calms and provides stress relief. These tea bags are great -- the addition of the powdered milk and oatmeal make it wonderful for your skin as well.  (and Lavender is calming for skin irritations so you get that benefit too) Make some for yourself or they make a great gift for anyone you know who deals with too much stress. tubtea

Lavender Tub Tea

Mix the Epsom salts, dried lavender, and essential oils in a large bowl then add in the powdered milk. The oatmeal should be ground in a food processor or blender to get a coarse power before adding it to the bowl as well. Mix well and you are ready to fill your tea bags. Add one tea bag to a nice warm bath, light a candle, pour a glass of wine or make a cup of tea.....and get ready to relax.
